International English Language Testing System
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who seek to study or work where English is the language of communication.
The University of New England has become an off-site testing centre for idp IELTS. This means that you will still be able to sit your test in Armidale at UNE, but the way you apply has changed. All applications are done on-line and there have been changes to the way you can contact IELTS. Please do not send any paper applications as we will not be able to process these from Armidale. For on-line application process please go to our How to Apply page.
Download the Information for Candidates form and read it before sitting the test.
