UNE is committed to helping students to reach their potential by offering a wide range of scholarship opportunities.
Undergraduate scholarships are available for Year 12 students and those on a gap year. The scholarship round opens in July and closes in September each year for UNE Country, Equity and discipline-based scholarships.
UNE is committed to its rural and regional communities and will offer around 40 scholarships each year to assist School Leavers from these areas. In particular, a UNE Country Scholarship will provide successful applicants with $6,000 for every year of full-time study.
It costs nothing to complete a UNE Undergraduate Scholarship Application, and successful applicants can receive up to $30,000 for UNE Country and Industry scholarships depending on the length and type of their degree.
SportsUNE offers a number of sporting scholarships to students who are accepted into a course of at least two years duration at UNE. Recipients will be expected to become an active member of the UNE sporting club as well as represent UNE in competition where possible for their sport. Where representation is not possible, the recipient is expected to actively engage with the University through other planned activity.
SportUNE also offers a range of training support for applicants who do not meet scholarship selection requirements. Sporting Scholarships close in September each year.
UNE is a great place to live as well as study. We have one of the most extensive residential college systems in Australia, with around half of our on-campus students living in our residential colleges. There are lots of great reasons to live in college.
Residential Scholarships close 31 December 2013.
The Indigenous Students scholarships website can help you find over 300 scholarships for undergraduate study at Australian universities.
