OUR PURPOSE
The term multiliteracies refers to literacy practices that encompass multimodal and multimedia forms of literacy, including those which in some way have been influenced or transformed by digital technologies.
Our purpose is to enhance the quality of education by building research capacity and opportunities for collaboration to further develop a multiliteracies perspective in English and literacies education in all curriculum areas in primary and secondary school contexts.
We support researchers, teachers, students and others involved in English, literacies, TESOL/EAL and Languages Education through: collaborative research projects, supervision of higher degree research, and postgraduate coursework.
