| Unit Description |
This unit provides an introduction to Project Management including initiating, scoping and marketing projects; project organisation - organisational structures, project teams and human behaviour together with planning, work breakdown and estimating techniques. Issues concerning time Management including precedence networks and critical path method together with Gantt Charts are also covered. The unit also provides the opportunity to study managing risk, OH&S and Industrial Relations; procuring and managing resources together with monitoring and controlling cost, quality and communication management. Managing small projects and project closure are also important aspects of this unit. |
