Unit Description

This multidisciplinary unit focuses on the impact of globalisation on the social formations of contemporary Asia. Some of the topics covered will include: work, gender, media and censorship, ethnic relations, religion and cultural expression. Students will be introduced to these and other topics through the analysis of various case studies.
