| Unit Description |
This unit describes the underlying causes of addictions including the biological, psychological, political, and social factors that affect First Nation Australians Aboriginals. The focus is on recovery using approaches that are suitable for First Nation families and communities. Cultural sensitivity is understood to be fundamental to helping people to recover from addictions. |
