Unit Description

This unit introduces the student to essential skills employed in the practice of urban and regional planning. Students will develop proficiency in graphical communication and visualisation, field work and site analysis. Assessment is through a series of graded exercises.

Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  1. demonstrate developed skills in graphical communication;
  2. apply their skills in field work; and
  3. demonstrate measurable skills in, and an understanding of, site analysis.
