| Unit Description |
Unit evaluates the basic processes leading to the formation of ore deposits, ore mineralogy and hydrothermal alteration, environmental consequences of mining and mineral economics. Practical work involves study of ore minerals, hydrothermal alteration, representative mineral deposit sample suites, environmental consequences of resource extraction. Includes field excursions.
