Unit Description

This unit focuses on the topic 'Writing the Self' in three French and/or Francophone texts and/or anthologies.

Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  1. demonstrate an advanced understanding and appreciation of important literary works, written in French, in areas of French or Francophone culture and civilisation;
  2. demonstrate advanced skills in analysing French literary works; and
  3. relate literary forms to the context in which the works were produced.
