| Restrictions | FREN150 or students with a pass of 70% or better in HSC 2-Unit (Continuers) French, or students with 3-Unit French, are not permitted to enrol in this unit | ||||||||||||
| Notes | students with HSC 2-Unit French Continuers (70%+) or 3-Unit French should enrol at 200 level. Native speakers should enrol at 200 level or above, after consultation with the Convenor of the discipline. |

| Unit Description |
French Language 1B is the continuation of FREN 101 or equivalent. It is intended to develop further and strengthen the levels of proficiency acquired in first semester, so that students may competently read and understand, and accurately write and speak, basic French. Off-campus students must have regular access to a cassette recorder (standard sized cassettes). |
