Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
-
implement on practicum a four week program that demonstrates an understanding of numeracy, technology, literacy, environmental and multicultural approaches, and all Key Learning Areas;

integrate technology and other cross-curricular perspectives into curriculum planning and assessment for the classroom;
-
use curriculum documents to develop coherent, sequential and student-centred programs and assessment activities in practical contexts;

demonstrate understanding of principles underpinning all aspects of curriculum delivery, including programming, assessment and evaluation;

develop, implement and evaluate a variety of assessment practices; and
-
articulate a personal philosophy for teaching.
