Unit Description

This unit covers wireless LAN devices and standards, personal, metropolitan and wide-area wireless networks. Theory is reinforced by hands-on planning, building, installing and configuring wireless LANs. This includes extensive step-by-step coverage of IEEE802.11b/a/g/pre-n implementation, design, security and troubleshooting.

  1. explain the foundations of communication networks, and follow and contribute to their evolution;
