By studying many short texts on a wide variety of topics in written Chinese, you will extend your competence in using the grammar and language patterns you have previously learned as well as some new ones. You will expand your vocabulary, review and expand your knowledge of Chinese culture, and develop reading skills to help you read Chinese with greater speed and confidence.
