Unit Description

Analytical techniques applied to water, atmospheric and forensic samples; sample preparation, pH measurements, conductometric methods. Molecular and atomic spectroscopies. Trace element analysis. Gas and liquid chromatographic methods. Air chemistry; stratospheric chemistry, ground-level pollution, greenhouse effect. Toxic organic chemicals. Water chemistry.
