Unit Description

This unit is designed to bring together the most important aspects of animal nutrition with a clear focus on practical application. It aims to expose students to the most recent research and provide a framework for decision-making related to nutrional interventions. The intensivel school covers feed formulation, supplementary feeding and an overview of applied ruminant, monogastric, equine and companion nutrition. The 500 level requires an additional project or essay.
