Overview

This Diploma is available to students who wish to pursue study in one language. It is available as a stand alone award or for students who are concurrently enrolled in a Bachelor course through UNE.

Course Rules

1. Admission to Candidature
A candidate shall be qualified for admission (see undergraduate admission rule).

2. Course Requirements
2.1. A candidate shall follow a course of studies comprising units to the value of not less than 48 credit points, which can include a six credit point in-country language unit, in one language as defined in Rule 3.

2.2. Unless otherwise permitted by the course coordinator, the program shall include units to the value of at least 48 credit points including no more than 18 credit points at 100 level and at least 12 credit points at 300 level.

3. Languages
A language is defined as one of the following: Chinese; French; German; Indonesian; Italian; Japanese.
