Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology
Why study the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology at UNE?
Places in this course are extremely limited and offers may be restricted to part-time study in some years, depending on availability.
The course provides an opportunity for graduates with a three-year accredited sequence in psychology to gain an accredited fourth year in psychology. Under current registration requirements, this will allow them to begin the process of professional registration as a psychologist. The program of study includes seminars on professional issues, as well as components on ethics and history, and reading courses on advanced theoretical topics. Students also write an individual research report based on a supervised group research project.
Students must be able to run SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) on their computer. Minimum Windows 2000 on PC or OS 10.3.9 on Macintosh.
