Suggested Full-Time Course Plan

The following are suggested patterns of enrolment or pathways for candidates studying on a full-time or part-time basis. They take into account unit pre-requisite, co-requisite and timetabling requirements. Candidates can each year choose to study less units than the full-time pattern or more units than the part-time pattern, but if doing so should use these suggested patterns as guides as to how best to structure their studies.

For candidates studying Full Time = 24 cps per semester. 12-15 Hours of study per week should be allocated for each 6 cp unit enrolment.

Notes:
Students entering from the Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning will be required to complete core units of the MUrbRegPlan if they have not been completed within the GDURP.
Students who have completed all core coursework units of the MUrbRegPlan will only be required to complete the Dissertation unit GEPL500 in order to graduate from the MUrbRegPlan.
GEPL500 may be taken full time in Trimester 1 or Trimester 2 commencing in either trimester.
