Suggested Full-Time Course Plan

The following are standard patterns of enrolment or pathways for candidates studying on a full-time or part-time basis. They take into account unit pre-requisite, co-requisite and timetabling requirements where possible. Candidates can each year choose to study less units than the full-time pattern or more units than the part-time pattern, but if doing so should use these standard patterns as guides as to how best to structure their studies.

For candidates studying Full Time = 48 cps per year. 12-15 Hours of study per week should be allocated for each 6 cp unit enrolment.

Please enrol in the unit PRACBURP, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning Practical Experience, once approved. All necessary documentation is provided and a register of work placement is also available. Proof of completion must be provided to the school.
Honours Program
Candidates may enrol in unit GEPL455 (12 cps) in their final year in place of 12 credit points of Elective Units with permission of the course coordinator and, if deemed of sufficient merit, will be eligible to graduate with the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning with Honours. Candidates wishing to include honours in their program should contact the course coordinator before completing the equivalent of their 3rd year of full-time study for advice on amending their course plan to include GEPL455.
