The Bachelor of Business component provides career opportunities in the financial sector, public relations, tourism, personnel and human resource management, publishing and editing, as well as a range of public sector opportunities including policy advisers, planning, foreign affairs, trade and industry and investment advisers.

Admission to Candidature
A candidate shall be qualified for admission (see Admission Rule Undergraduate Policy).
Period of Candidature
The period of candidature shall be:
(a) four years as a full-time candidate;
(b) up to ten years as a part-time candidate.
Course Requirements
To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 192 credit points comprising:
Bachelor of Arts component – 96 credit points with not more than 36 credit points at 100-level; and
Bachelor of Business component – 96 credit points.

Candidates shall complete an approved program of study as outlined in the Course Schedule comprising:

Award of Degree
Candidates who meet the course requirements shall be awarded the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business.
Exit Pathways
Candidates who discontinue their studies in the course may be eligible to exit with the Diploma in Business on completion of 48 credit points towards the Business component, of which at least 36 credit points must be from the School of Business, Economics and Public Policy.
Candidates who discontinue their studies in the course may be eligible to exit with the Advanced Diploma in Arts on completion of 72 credit points towards the Arts component.
