Unit Description

This unit will equip managers with a sophisticated ability to create and implement agreements, including negotiation and efficient design, dispute management, legally binding agreements and administering agreements to overcome legal or relationship conflict.

Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  1. brainstorm the issues in a potential agreement and write it up;
  2. generate a range of contract structures based on those heads of agreement;
  3. draft an effective agreement that is suitable to the context for its implementation;
  4. design and implement a negotiating strategy;
  5. document that agreement, administer that agreement effectively; and
  6. handle and resolve disputes.
