Learning Outcomes (LO) Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  1. exhibit an ability to formulate intellectually significant questions pertaining to a selected area of archaeology and palaeoanthropology;

  3. exhibit advanced analytical abilities and a skill in combining a broad range of research materials, from various resources in order to answer their dissertation question;
  4. write up an extended research dissertation based on the student's own question and research.

T: The writing of a dissertation will, by its very nature, teach students strategies for solving intricate problems that arise when thinking about social life and working out how to study it.
