Why study the Master of Training and Development at UNE?

This course is designed for students with considerable working experience, particularly in training and/or management. The aim is to develop reflective practitioners who can describe, analyse and improve workplace training and administrative practices. The course will benefit senior administrators, training supervisors, human resource managers and learning and development professionals in the private sector or Australian Defence Force (ADF), VET sector, and other relevant public sector organisations.

(d) satisfy the faculty by means of other qualifications and relevant experience of adequate preparation for candidature.

Admission to Candidature

A candidate shall:
(a) hold a degree of a university; or

(d) satisfy the faculty by means of other qualifications and relevant experience of adequate preparation for candidature.

Period of Candidature

The period of candidature shall be:
(a) one year as a full-time candidate;
(b) up to four years as a part-time candidate.

Course Requirements

To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 48 credit points.

Program of Study

Candidates shall complete an approved program of study as outlined in the Course Schedule comprising:

Award of Degree

Candidates who meet the course requirements shall be awarded the Master of Training and Development.
