Master of Leadership
Why study the Master of Leadership at UNE?
This course takes advantage of the strengths of a business oriented degree while meeting the contemporary organisational leadership needs of the 21st Century. It is offered in either of two majors: change management or higher education. The change management major is geared toward mid?managers who recognise the needs to further develop their leadership skills in improving organisational adaptability, flexibility, sustainability, and capacity. The higher education major concerns higher education leadership, comparative education research, system, and policy studies with emphasis placed on knowledge production and contemporary educational issues and trends of the Asia-Pacific.

Admission to Candidature
A candidate must have had three years' relevant experience involving administrative responsibilities; and
(a) hold a degree of a university; or
(b) hold a three-year diploma from a university or a college of advanced education; or
(c) hold a graduate diploma relevant to the award; or
(d) satisfy the school by means of other qualifications and relevant experience of adequate preparation for candidature.
Advanced Standing
A maximum of 24 credit points advanced standing may be granted.
Period of Candidature
The period of candidature shall be:
(a) one year as a full-time candidate;
(b) up to four years as a part-time candidate.
Course Requirements
To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 48 credit points.
Program of Study
Candidates shall complete an approved program of study as outlined in the Course Schedule comprising:
