Graduate Diploma in Financial Management
Why study the Graduate Diploma in Financial Management at UNE?
The Graduate Diploma in Financial Management is a 'conversion' course to gain professional qualifications in accounting for graduates in other disciplines. It is accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) as a recognised Graduate conversion course.
Students who intend to enrol in the course for membership of any of the accounting bodies should consult the relevant body for specification of the units that must be completed towards their program prior to enrolment. This assessment is usually based on the candidate's previous tertiary studies. In some cases students may need to take additional units to those prescribed for this course in order to gain accreditation.

| Benefits | Professional Membership: The Coordinator of the Graduate Diploma in Financial Management is able to advise students on a program that will satisfy CPA Australia, ICAA and NIA. This program may require ratification by the professional body and the student is advised to obtain such ratification prior to commencing their studies. Students are not eligible for admission to membership of the professional bodies unless they have completed the required units Summer Semester provides an opportunity for students to fast-track their academic progression or to catch up on units required to complete the degree. A selection of units is offered off-campus during the normal semester break from November to February, enabling students to study from home and to accelerate their progress towards graduation. |
