The Graduate Diploma in Anatomy by Dissection provides education and training in anatomy by dissection to medical, dental and veterinary graduates. It consists of fully integrated study using online technologies such as DVD, CD, Virtual Libraries. These latter used in preparation prior to the 11 day intensive school in cadaver dissection. Endorsement by The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is currently being sought.

Admission to Candidature
A candidate shall:
(a) hold a Bachelor of Medicine or a Bachelor of Dentistry or a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent from a recognised university or tertiary institutution; or
(b) hold the Graduate Certificate in Applied Anatomy by Dissection.
International students must meet English language requirements acceptable for registration with the Medical, Dental or Veterinary Boards of Australia.
Medical registration: minimum IELTS 7 in all 4 areas (http://www.amc.org.au/images/FormsGeneral/NationalEngLangPol.pd).
Advanced Standing
Candidates admitted under Rule (b) shall be awarded advanced standing for a maximum of 24 credit points
Period of Candidature
1. For candidates admitted under Rule (a), the period of candidature shall be up to four years as a part-time candidate.
2. For candidates admitted under Rule (b), the period of candidature shall be up to two years as a part-time candidate.
Course Requirements
To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 48 credit points at 600-level.

Candidates shall complete an approved program of study as outlined in the Course Schedule comprising:

Award of Degree
Candidates who meet the course requirements shall be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Applied Anatomy by Dissection.
