Unit Description

This unit is concerned with using data for problem solving. Various sources of data are explored. Problems are solved using analysis of variance, multiple regression, chi-square tests, elementary time series analysis, index numbers, and simulation. Computer analysis using EXCEL is a basic part of the unit. This unit comprises up to 39 lecture hours and 12 tutorial hours.
