Unit Description

This unit examines research and theories in the related areas of motivation and emotion. The unit emphasises the interaction between motivation and emotion with other aspects of human functioning, such as learning. The unit explores applications of motivation and emotion theory and research in different realms of life, such as interpersonal relations. The unit examines advances in motivation theory and research stimulated by positive psychology, which focuses on the development of human strengths.

  2. apply the principles in analysing examples;
