Unit Description

This unit is designed for qualified Bachelor of Languages and International Business (BLIB) majors, who have completed two years of foreign language and international business units. Students undertake overseas study at one of UNE's partner institutions, which is followed by overseas work placement. Overseas work placement is the responsibility of the qualifying student and requires written reports by both the enterprise and the student on the experience gained while overseas.

Assessment Notes
Assessment for all students will consist of final reports on the experiences gained during placement. One is submitted by the enterprise's management representative and another by the student. Where part-time work is undertaken, independent business research will be carried out for an additional report of 6000 words. The units will be assessed on an SR basis as are the intercalary year units OSLS391 and OSLS392.
