Unit Description

This unit focuses on the processes associated with changing and developing an organisation. Topics covered include: change agency; models of the organisational development process; planned change and organisational renewal; the role of corporate culture; overcoming resistance to change; process consultation; intervention strategies; employee empowerment; and evaluating the effects of change. The unit proceeds from the point of view of a person who is consulting with an organisation to produce change.
