Unit Description

This unit acquaints students with the works of the major authors of 14th-Century Italy. Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca and Giovanni Boccaccio are the founders of the Italian literary tradition.

  5. show a greater critical acumen in analysing literary texts in general than at 300-level.
