Unit Description

This unit provides students with the opportunity of studying Indonesian in Indonesia at intermediate-advanced level. This is an in-country programme developed in collaboration with the University of the Sunshine Coast, Charles Darwin University, the University of Tasmania and Mataram University in Indonesia.

Two assignments. Assignments are usually based on self-structured activities outside of class that encourage students to use their Indonesian to explore their environment in Lombok. Assessment is is administered and implemented by Mataram University under supervision from UNE, CDU, USC and UTas.

Assessment is is administered and implemented by Mataram University under supervision from UNE, CDU, USC and UTas. The structured participation mark is used to encourage students to work regularly, keep in contact with teaching staff, and take an active role in classroom activities.
