Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:

demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Music ICT skills and knowledge for teaching Secondary Music;

use ICT confidently for teaching secondary music using selected music computer programs for composing, notating and recording music, such as Finale, Sibelius, and Band-in-a-Box;

use ICT confidently for teaching secondary music using effective music freeware for recording and editing sound, such as Finale Notepad and Audacity;

use ICT confidently for teaching secondary music using useful websites for music history, musical instruments, musical vocabulary, and other resources, such as The Internet Public Library and ArtsAlive; and
-
incorporate a range of teaching resources and innovative strategies in learning and teaching activities.
