1. Admission to Candidature
1.1. This course is available on a full-fee paying basis only.
1.2. An applicant for admission to candidature shall apply to the Student Centre on the prescribed form, by the prescribed date.
1.3. An applicant for admission to candidature shall have fulfilled all of the requirements for admission to a degree, or qualification of equivalent standing, accepted by the school on the advice of the Head of School of Law or nominee as sufficient qualification for admission to the course, or shall provide other evidence to show to the satisfaction of the school that he or she is adequately prepared for candidature.
2. Requirements for the Graduate Certificate
Except as provided in Rule 3. a candidate shall successfully complete the requirements for LLM 627, 628, 629, 630.
3. Advanced Standing
At the discretion of the course coordinator, on the recommendation of the Head of School of Law or nominee, a candidate may be granted advanced standing for course work units passed prior to admission to candidature, provided that such units have reasonable correspondence with units offered by the school for the Graduate Certificate in Resource Governance. The maximum advanced standing that may be granted for units passed at another university or institution shall be 12 credit points.
4.Award of the Certificate
A successful candidate shall be awarded the Certificate at the level of Pass.

Candidates are referred to the University Policy on Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct.
