Suggested Full Time Course Plan
The following are standard patterns of enrolment or pathways for candidates studying on a full-time or part-time basis. They take into account unit pre-requisite, co-requisite and timetabling requirements. Candidates can each year choose to study less units than the full-time pattern or more units than the part-time pattern, but if doing so should use these standard patterns as guides as to how best to structure their studies.
For candidates studying Full-Time = 48 cps per year or 24 cps per semester. This equates to a workload of approximately 40-48 hours per week.

| Notes: The number and combination of Listed Units for this Major and Elective Units in which candidates enrol each year can be varied to the suggested pattern above to take into account unit availability. Candidates undertaking a 2nd Major as part of their program of study may need to substitute the Core Units for their 2nd Major in first year in place of a number of 100-level Elective Units and will need to complete the Prescribed and/or Listed Units for their 2nd Major in place of a number of Elective Units in Yrs 2 and 3. Candidates are advised that MATH101 and MATH102 assume a knowledge of HSC Mathematics or equivalent. |
