Why study the Bachelor of Professional Nursing at UNE?

This course will provide registered nurses from other countries only, who have a diploma in nursing qualification and professional experience, the opportunity to undertake advanced studies at the Bachelor level. Specifically, it will provide an advanced level of knowledge, understanding and skills in aspects of nursing theory, health management and counseling. While this course will provide a professional upgrading, it does not lead to NSW Nurses & Midwives Board registration in Australia

Career Opportunities

This course aims to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills required to work in the health care environment. It aims to build on the students diploma qualifications and professional experience. It also aims to further develop their skills of critical analysis and problem solving, as well as concepts and skills specific to the nursing and health management settings.

English Language Requirements

Entry to the Bachelor of Professional Nursing requires an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no sub-band less than 5.5.

Credit Point Requirements

To qualify for the award a candidate shall complete a total of 48 credit points.
