| Unit Description |
This unit is the second phase of a project designed to research, create and reflect upon an original piece of theatre. In this unit students will draw on their research from THEA 501 and develop a fully articulated proposal for production. The student should pick the best of the possible production strategies developed in the previous unit and develop it as for a professional production. The application of the research should be highlighted, and working decisions should be made about approaches to acting style, costumes, sets and lighting. The work should be prepared and presented as if to a theatre company as a proposal for a production. |
