Unit Description

This unit is the first phase of a project designed to research, create and reflect upon an original piece of theatre. In this unit each student will choose and explore a topic within Theatre Studies, select or create from within the field of the topic a script or scenario for public presentation, and research and prepare it for performance. The research conducted during this unit should be aimed at developing a range of possible production strategies, and should be written up and presented in a way that illustrates the relevance of the research to future performance.
