| Unit Description |
A full-time honours year will encompass the conduct and reporting of a specific research project agreed upon between the student and supervisor. On the completion of the honours year students should have achieved the ability to undertake a research project from conception to design. Candidates will also be expected to critically evaluate the scientific literature, and to convey the outcome of experimental results both verbally and in writing concisely and with clarity. The honours program consists of a review of the literature in a specified field, a component of course work in statistics or animal surgery and the submission of a minor research thesis which is to be undertaken under the supervision of a nominated academic staff member. Candidates must consult the Physiology honours coordinator in October concerning enrolments and areas of study.
