Unit Description

In this unit, students will develop skills in the design, conduct and critical evaluation of organisational research. A diverse range of research paradigms and methods, design and measurement issues and data gathering and analytic strategies will be explored. Qualitative and quantitative approaches will receive balanced attention. The unit will stress how to synergistically combine quantitative and qualitative approaches to achieve research aims. A critical emphasis will be on the interdependence between business contexts, research goals and methods/analytic choices.
