Unit Description

This unit focuses on human behaviour in organisational contexts. Topics to be explored include: the systems context of organisational behaviour and the concept of congruence, the role of individual differences in organisations, motivation, performance and stress, individual and group decision making, group dynamics and job roles, leadership and power, communication, basic human resource management issues, organisational design and culture, and international dimensions of organisational behaviour. Emphasis will be placed upon combining theory and practice.
