Unit Description

This unit deals with intensive study of the skills of reading and writing. In JAPN312 students are required to undertake extensive reading in Japanese in a variety of additional genres (including some authentic texts) and also to complete guided/focussed writing tasks in additional text types. As part of their studies in this unit, students will learn approximately 100-120 new characters from the second half of the 1006 Kyôiku kanji.
