Unit Description

The unit examines the socio-economic and political factors influencing Aboriginal health from colonisation to the present. It explores issues and concerns related to systemic bias, structural violence, culture shock, cultural vitality and cultural safety in relation to general health organisations and community controlled services. There is an emphasis on problem-solving and information analysis.
