Unit Description

This unit is about retrieving, recording and analysing the silent and marginal experiences and histories of cultural and linguistic minorities in Australia. Students study not only printed materials and the media but undertake cross-cultural field work with individuals or groups in Indigenous and ethnic communities in Australia. There is an emphasis on problem-solving and information analysis.
