| Unit Description |
This unit examines the role of the rural social worker in relation to the specific needs and environments of regional, rural and remote communities. Particular emphasis is on the changing landscape of rural Australia and the unique ways in which environmental and social factors influence rural individuals and families. This unit focusses on the needs of Indigneous people across all localities and social work practice with these communities. Service delivery in rural areas is also examined. |
