Unit Description

This unit introduces students to international business issues and the operation of organisations in the international economy. Topics include: host and country of origin government policy towards international firms; development of an international business strategy; human resource management in international firms; marketing of international products and services; finance; and legal and accounting aspects of international operations. The key issues will be why some firms succeed and others fail in the international market.
