Unit Description

Studies the resource related challenges facing managers and critically assesses different approaches intended to improve performance in resource management. Examines the impact of public sector reform on resource management, globalisation, information and knowledge management and resource allocation. Examines the incorporation of information and communication technologies within an organisation. Outcomes/performance based management and limitations of the use of the market as a management tool in the public sector.
