Unit Description

This unit provides students with the skills needed to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data in organisational and marketing research contexts at a level consistent with expectations of postgraduate researchers. Students will acquire skills using both the SPSS and NVivo computer packages as well as programs for drawing cognitive maps and diagrams. Statistical training will span a range of univariate and multivariate techniques. Qualitative analyses will cover a variety of interpretive and data display approaches. Students will also learn how to integrate the findings from quantitative and qualitative analyses arising from mixed methods research investigations.
