Unit Description

This unit addresses many financial reporting issues pertaining to Australian corporations. Numerous accounting standards and other reporting requirements are covered. The unit also deals with the procedures by which accounting standards are developed, and the economic consequences which may follow the introduction of particular standards. Issues associated with corporate social responsibility reporting are also considered.
