Unit Description This unit examines theoretical approaches to analysing economic change and urban spaces. Underpinning this will be a variety of empirical studies and analysis of the planning and policy implications of such change. The unit is divided into 3 modules: Module (1) covers topics relating to the geographies of economic change and urban development; Module (2) investigates urban economic principals and their practical implications; and Module (3) examines the social implications of urban economic change.
